Thirteen of you have requested this answer. Gets me nervous :P I’ll try to answer to the best of my capabilities.
Smart way
It is the key word in this question. That is how my strategy has been.
So, the first step for SSC CGL preparation is solving previous year question papers. Check how much you’ve been able to score at the level when you’re totally unprepared. Pick up the last question paper available. Analyse your performance.
There will be some areas you’ve done amazingly good (let’s call it A).
Some would be just okayish (call it B) and then some areas were you’ve just screwed up or you know nothing about (call it C).
Now start working on area A and area C.
Give 20% of your time to area A and the rest to area C.
Do it for a month or till the time you feel you’ve converted your area C into area A.
Your job is half done.
Now come to area B. Start working on it. Give 100% of your time to it. It will not take much time in number of days because you just need to brush it up.
So, in the end, all your portions will be ready to the best. This works because:
- you’ve mastered the area even more which you’re already good at.
- You’ve worked on your weak areas enough to get you somewhere and it makes you feel confident
- You’ve become excellent in things you were just okay at.
I’ve tried to give a basic idea about the strategy.
